Recent Trends and Advancements in Microwave Engineering
Manav Rachna Innovation & Incubation Centre (MRIIC) conducted a one day workshop on “Recent Trends & Advancements in Microwave Engineering” in association with Jyoti Electronics, Ahmedabad on 19thJan’18. Dr. M. K. Soni, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS) presided over and inaugurated the event. He appreciated the effort of MRIIC to conduct such workshop that will help students and faculties to be familiar with the advancements in Microwave Engineering, an emerging technology.
The resource persons for the workshop were Mr. Fateh Lohar, Applications Engineer, Jyoti Electronics; Dr. Awasthi, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Faculty of Engineering, Manav Rachna University (MRU); and Dr. Abhiruchi Passi, ECE, Faculty of Engineering & Technology (FET), MRIIRS.
The workshop covered various topics which include Antenna Designing Fundamentals, Microwave Filter Designing Fundamentals, and CST Studio Suite. To equip all the participants with knowledge and experience of Microwave Engineering, hands-on exercises were conducted on Antenna and Microwave Filter Designing using CST software tool. CSI Software Tool is one of the most widely used tools for performing cutting-edge research work in the field of Microwave Engineering.
The workshop was a grand success and provided tech enthusiasts a platform to learn, discuss and share trends and major advancements in Microwave Engineering.
