Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies celebrated Poshan Mah, 2021 in collaboration with Nestle, India. The celebration involved the distribution of breakfast cereal packets among students and a recipe competition.
Healthy Breakfast cereal packets sponsored by Nestle were distributed among students, faculty members, and lab staff of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences. Later, a recipe competition involving Nestle Maggi as the main ingredient was organized. The event was coordinated by Dr. Mahak Sharma, Associate Professor and Dr. Shubra Saraswat, Assistant Professor. Out of 24 entries received, 10 got selected for the final round. Among these, the first prize was bagged by Ms. Bali for her creation called Maggie Doughnuts, the second prize by Ms. Suman, for Maggie Ring Samosa, and third prize was given to Khushi Soneja for Maggie Masala Oats pancakes. The winners were motivated by gift vouchers sponsored by the Nestle team. The session was also followed by a demonstration session on Healthy recipes by Ms. Vini, Activation and Culinary Consultant with Nestle.
