Peer Group program on “Collaborative Learning”

The Faculty of Computer Applications (FCA), MRIIRS organized a Peer Group program on “Collaborative Learning” to enhance the learning of new technologies within the faculty members. The programme started with an introductory lecture by Prof. Dr. S.S. Tyagi, HOD-FCA. In his lecture, he discussed one of his prominent research papers unfolding the concept of Software Defined Networking, its implementation, challenges and research directions. Prof. Kourosh Ahmadi from AIS, New Zealand also attended the session.
This was followed by a presentation by Dr. Sonia Duggal on IOT Based Smart Parking Systems using RFID. She explained how can we reduce the need for manpower in parking facility and waiting time in a large size parking facility.
Both the sessions were interactive and highly appreciated among the peer group.
