Oral Cancer Screening Camp for support staff of Manav Rachna

• Organized jointly by Manav Rachna Dental College & Department of Nutrition & Dietetics, MRIIRS
• Around 150 support staff members benefit from the camp

Manav Rachna Dental College (MRDC) and the Department of Nutrition & Dietetics, MRIIRS organized a two-day oral cancer screening camp for the support staff of all Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (comprising drivers, housekeeping, pantry, and cleanliness staff). Around 150 staff members were screened during the camp, which was supported by Herbinox.

The main purpose of the camp was to spread awareness about the ill effects of Tobacco and its usage and to provide nutritional tips to maintain a good oral hygiene. Free detection, free screening, nutritional advice as well as vital staining were conducted for all the participants.

Dr. Arundeep Singh, Principal, MRDC; Dr. M K Soni, PVC, MRIIRS; Dr. Ashim Aggarwal, Vice Principal, MRDC and Dr. Shivani Aggarwal, HoD, Department of Oral Pathology and Dr. Sarita Sachdeva, Dean, Department of Applied Sciences were present on the occasion.
