Moot Court Training Workshop by Khyati Goel, Alumnus, National University Singapore

The Moot Court Society at the School of Law, Manav Rachna University organised a moot court training workshop by Khyati Goel, Alumnus, National University of Singapore.Ms. Khyati Goel is pursuing her LLM at the National University of Singapore, with a specialisation in Intellectual property and Technology Law. She has worked with the General Corporate and Finance teams at Cyril AmarchandMangaldas for almost 3 years.

She completed her BA.LL.B. (Hons.) from Amity Law School Delhi, GGSIPU (2013-2018). During her B.A.LL.B course, Khyati has not only participated, but won various competitions, such as moot court competitions, negotiation competitions, mediation competitions and criminal advocacy competitions, among others. She also has the experience of being a speaker at various reputed moot court competitions such as the KK Luthra Moot Court Competition, 2016 and the FDI Investment Arbitration Moot Court Competition, 2017. Khyati was a key member of the moot team that ranked 2nd at the South Asia rounds of FDI Investment Arbitration Moot Court Competition, 2017 which allowed her team to qualify for the world rounds. Through her workshop, Ms Goel discussed the issues raised in the moot court problem. She taught the students about the oratory skills that a mooter must possess, and guided them how to tackle questions posed by judges during the rounds.The interactive workshop by Ms Goel proved to be an enriching and insightful experience into the world of mooting.
