MRIIRS FET-Orientation Programme- Visit to Adopted Villages

Dedicated towards improving the quality of life through inclusive growth and development in education, Manav Rachna, under the aegis of Dr. O.P. Bhalla Foundation has adopted villages. Freshers of Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies were divided into four clans and visited these villages as a part of their orientation programme. The visit was aimed to instill life skills among the freshers.

Students of Forest Rhinos clan visited Angarwadi School in village Nariyala and interacted with KG level students. Students shared some drawing tips with the students which was followed by the dance activity. Students who danced well were given a token of appreciation. Students also had a golden opportunity to meet the Sarpanch of the village- Mr. Yogandra Kaushik.

Wild Cats clan took students to the Rajkiya Prathmic Pathshala, Maujpur Village where they interacted with the students from KG level to Class-V. The students of the school welcomed MRIIRS students with a beautiful Rangoli. MRIIRS students and school students enjoyed a lot of activities together like Kho Kho, Dance, Frisbee. The winners of all the events were appreciated with gifts.

Team of students and faculties from Air Falcon clan visited B D Public School, Hirapur Village. The students apprised the school students of the importance of cleanliness. Key Chains, Mugs, Balloons and Chocolates were distributed among students. Students also played their heart out in activities like kho, kabbaddi and race.

Clan Water Sharks took students to the Govt. School of Panhera Khurd Village to spread awareness about ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’. MRIIRS students conducted an interactive session with the students on Cleanliness Drive, and involved the students in activities like Kabaddi Match, Dance and music competition and fellow interaction.

The visit was very inspiring and motivational for all the students. The last day of second week of Orientation Programme concluded with Performing Arts auditions for Fashion.
