MRDC, Lions Club & ESIC Medical College, Faridabad, organizes Walkathon on World No Tobacco Day

Department of Public Health Dentistry, Manav Rachna Dental College in collaboration with Lions Club, Lake City and ESIC Medical College, Faridabad organized an event on the occasion of World Tobacco Day today at the hospital premises.

Senior Dignitaries, including Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, Vice Chancellor, MRU & MD, MREI; M.M Kathuria, Trustee, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions; Dr. Asim Das, Dean ESIC Hospital; Dr. Raman Grover, HOD Community Medicine ESIC Medical College and Members of Lions Club, Faridabad and Mr. T.S. Bedi flagged off the Anti-Tobacco Rally. The purpose behind the rally was to sensitize people about the substance abuse. Students and faculty from MRDC and ESIC Medical College participated in the rally. With this, MRDC successfully aligned itself to a cause that the Medical Fraternity takes very seriously.

The Students of Manav Rachna Dental College performed a Nukkad Natak spreading a message of beating substance abuse and tobacco for health, prosperity and the environment. The students proactively sloganeered against the use of tobacco. The placards and banners stated, “If You Can’t Stop Then Cancer Will.”
