Manav Rachna welcomes new members with zest!

There was much hope, anticipation and joy in the air as the Faculty of Engineering & Technology (FET) and the Faculty of Architecture & Design (FAD) welcomed Freshers from the 2018 batch to the campus today. A robust three-week orientation (July 9- July 31) program to introduce our new students to the various facets of campus life at Manav Rachna has been planned.

As is the tradition at Manav Rachna, the day commenced on an auspicious note with a Havan ceremony. The students also paid tributes to Founder Visionary Dr O.P. Bhalla as a mark of respect to his visionary zeal. The first day was replete with introductions, campus visit, ice-breaking sessions and management games. All the Deans, Directors, accompanied by the Heads of Departments warmly welcomed the Freshers and their parents, outlining Manav Rachna’s philosophy, culture and way of life.

Addressing the students, Dr N.C. Wadhwa, Vice Chancellor, MRIIRS, said, “This is a significant day as you start your journey towards the realization of your goals and career. We at MRIIRS will provide you with ample opportunities –both intellectual and extra-curricular—to help you emerge as successful citizens of the future. As a research driven institution and sound tie-ups with knowledge partners both national and international, our students are exposed to the best practices in global education. MRIIRS is a ragging-free campus where students evolve in a conducive academic ambience. We train our students with both domain knowledge and soft skills and provide programmes that are industry –oriented to help them excel in the job market.”
