Manav Rachna Educational Institutions script history with three National Sports Awards to its credit

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has announced this year’s list of the National Sports Awards. In an unprecedented achievement by any other educational institute, Manav Rachna has been bestowed with three National Sports Awards. The awards will be presented by the President of India at a specially organized function at the Darbar Hall of Rashtrapati Bhavan on November 13, 2021 (Saturday).

The awards announced are:

✅ Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puraskar 2021 for ‘Identification and Nurturing of Budding and Young Talent’

✅ Dronacharya Award for outstanding coaches in sports & games 2021 (Life-Time Category) for Mr. Sarkar Talwar, Director Sports

✅ Arjuna Award 2021 for Abhishek Verma, Manav Rachna Alumni and ace shooter

It is noteworthy that Manav Rachna Educational Institutions have contributed many International and National Medals across various sports for the country. The institution has sponsored the education and training of several sportspersons over the years. Coupled with state-of-the-art sports facilities, international coaches, robust training programs, dedicated sports science centre; thousands of students and athletes are undergoing training with Manav Rachna.
