Legal Awareness and Counseling Camp
The legal aid committee of the Faculty of Law in collaboration with DLSA (District legal services authority) held a Legal Awareness and Counseling camp at Manav Rachna University. All the participants followed notified COVID-19 precaution-related protocols.
The main objective of the camp was to offer counseling on legal issues shared by the visitors. The camp was open for all the Manav Rachna staff, family, and students. Persons mostly from the cleaning staff visited to seek advice.
The camp was organized under the supervision of Mr. Shivam Gaur, Faculty In-charge, and Mr. Rahul Malik, student coordinator of the Legal aid committee at FOL-MRU.
It was a learning experience for the students, who participated in the camp as they got to listen to the grievances of the people and understand them from the perspectives of law. Such activities also motivate students to take up voluntary and philanthropic assignments in their professional lives.
