ISHRAE (Indian Society for Heating, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineers) conducted a Job Junction Fair for students pursuing Mechanical Engineering programs from institutes across North India at the Manav Rachna International University (MRIU) campus from November 6-8, 2017.
Manav Rachna International University was the nodal center for this unique job fair for students from North India. It is noteworthy that the Mechanical Engineering Dept., Faculty of Engineering & Technology, MRIU has been working in close partnership with ISHRAE for development of overall technological environment in the northern region of country.
More than 130 students of different student chapters/states of north zone participated at the Job Junction fair. They were greatly enthused by the opportunities it unfolded. Around 20 top-of-the line companies such as Blue Star, Voltas, Kirloskar, and Carrier among others visited the campus to select students through online test, group discussion and personal interview over the three-day period.
Congratulating MRIU and ISHRAE for a very successful job fair, Dr. M K Soni, PVC, MRIU said: “We regularly engage with the industry and strive for expanding the industry-academia interface at our campus. We gather information, through close and regular interactions with the leading recruiters, regarding the knowledge and skills requirements of the industry and incorporate them to make the students even more industry ready and job ready”.
