Interactive discussion for placement awareness
The CST department’s placement cell held an interactive discussion at Manav Rachna University for placement awareness. Lakshya Mittal, a student from the 2018-2022 batch of B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering was the lead speaker for the session. He has recently been shortlisted by CommVault Systems for the role of Associate Engineer and offered a CTC of Rs 30.3 lakh.
Lakshya answered all queries by the students regarding the company’s placement criteria and ways to acquire high-paying job offers. Also, a discussion was done over the following areas:
- Internships available for students
- Creation of effective projects
- Topics to study for interview
- Dealing with placement pressure
Towards the end of the session he shared his placement journey with all the students and the pitfalls that should be avoided. Students thanked Dr. Mamta Arora, the session coordinator for conducting the session.
