IEEE DAY 2019
Faculty of Computer Applications, MRIIRS has celebrated IEEE Day: Leveraging Technology for a better tomorrow– TECH-VIBES 2019 on October 15, 2019 technically supported by IEEE Computer Society, Delhi section and IEEE TEMS Chapter, Delhi Section.
It was organized with an objective to allow students to enhance their capability and learning skills in various domains.
The day started with three different technical events named Thrust Talk, Ex-quiz me and Innovative Project Idea where more than 150 students including IEEE members participated from different Faculties of MRIIRS and from institutions other than MRIIRS.
Dr. S.S. Tyagi, Dean-FCA, Dr. Shaveta Bhatia, HOD-CA and Mr.Daman Dev Sood, COO, Continuity and Resilience IEEE Ambassador graced the occasion with their presence.
Mr.Daman Dev Sood, a BCI’s Merit Award (Global) Winner 2012 gave the expert talk on “IT Disaster Recovery & Green IT”. He gave an insight view of Green IT and focused on 3R’s for E-Waste Management. He also urged the students and faculty members to initiate the E-Waste Management on the campus.
The prizes were distributed to all the winners along with certificates. Dr. Anupriya Jain, Ms. Seema and Ms. Chitra and other faculty members of the Department coordinated the activities and organized the programme very well.
