The Hindi Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm at Manav Rachna. A heart-rending couplet conveying the agony of the language in the present scenario set the tone of the program. Mr. Dilip Kumar, HOD, Dept. of Hindi, MRIS, Charmwood and Ms Kavita Hilawadi from MRIS, Sector 21-C, Faridabad were the Chief Guests for the event.
Director-Principal, Ms Sanyogita Sharma while addressing the audience urged them to take pride in communicating in Hindi and never join in the latest culture of looking down upon people who speak in this language.
Recitation of Hindi couplets, self-scripted poem, a short debate on ‘Which Language is better: Hindi or English?’ superbly presented mime depicting a beautifully – worded dialogue between both the languages, Group-songs, and dances were some of the activities conducted on the occasion.
