Mechanical Engineering Dept. organized Guest lecture on the topic ‘The role of residual stresses in correlation with microstructure of Zirconium’ recently.
The Lecture was delivered by Dr. Gulshan Kumar, Professor, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Department, BITS Pilani Dubai Campus.
The lecture helped the students in understanding various technical aspects inter-twined with metallurgical aspects; their mechanical properties and practical approach. He explained how theoretical knowledge can be applied to solve real-life problems.
