Four days workshop on Art of Living – “Mind Matters” was organized by Computer Science Department, Manav Rachna University for MRU Faculty Members. The session was conducted by Ms. Heeru Ji and Mr. Prateek Ji (National Art of Living Faculty). The session provided skills to remove stress, feel free and light from within. Faculty members learnt the tips for increasing concentration and memory, to handle peer pressure, and remove all negativity filling-up with positive energy. “Meditation is the journey from movement to stillness, sound to silence”. – Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Series of meditation sessions were conducted during the workshop.
The Session also focused on “Discover the secrets of breath”, the speakers discussed the benefits of having control over breath, as most of the body toxins are released through breath. They also highlighted how our stress, negative emotions and thoughts, can be controlled and transformed into positive energy by breath controlling techniques.
The workshop concluded by thanking Ms. Heeru Ji and Mr. Prateek Ji for their valuable time and gifting us the lessons of living a good and stress-free lifestyle. The four-day workshop was helpful for all faculty members to have a happy mind that will let them stay calm, make better decisions and improve the overall quality of life.
