Department of Architecture & Design organises Orientation for B.Arch Programme
Faculty of Planning and Architecture held an Orientation Programme to apprise students and their parents about the B.Arch at Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (formerly MRIU) Campus.
In his Welcome address, Founder, Dean, Prof. Jatinder Saigal, Faculty of Architecture and Design spoke about the importance of Architecture in our day- to-day lives and the role of an architect in making a difference to both human life as well as environment. He also informed about the current projects on which students are currently working upon. These are SMART CITIES and Revival of Bhadhkal Lake.
Meanwhile, Associate Prof. and HOD, Ismita Singh acclimatize with the different branches of Architecture and Design.
The event also saw an interactive session between parents and the faculty members.
Prof. Hari K.G Nambiar was also present at the Orientation.
