Faculty members of Civil Engineering presented papers in WCDM – 2021

Three Faculty Members from Department of Civil Engineering presented individual papers during the Technical Session in the prestigious 5th World Congress on Disaster Management- 2021 (WCDM – 2021), held at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT – Delhi) recently, jointly organized by the Government of National Capital of Territory (GNCT), IIT – Delhi and Disaster Management Initiatives and Convergence System (DMICS), Hyderabad. Technical session was chaired by Prof. D. S. Sengar, Pro – Vice Chancellor, Manav Rachna University and co–chaired by Dr. Pradeep K. Varshney, Dean – Research and Innovation, Manav Rachna University.

The following faculty members presented their experience and work on the theme of “Structural Adequacy of Existing Built Environment”: Prof. (Dr.) Sunita Bansal, Head of Department, Department of Civil Engineering; Mr. Yaman Hooda, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering; and Mr. Haobam Derit Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering.

WCDM-2021 proved to be a platform for sharing knowledge and experiences of the people in the field of Disaster Management and Risk Reduction.
