Assistant Professor at School of Education, MRU selected for research project by Down Syndrome International, University of Northampton, United Kingdom

Mr Sharv Datt Anand, Assistant Professor from School of Education and Humanities has been selected by Down Syndrome International, University of Northampton, United Kingdom for a research project on Inclusive education. 

Down Syndrome International is a UK based international disabled people’s organization, comprising a membership of individuals and organizations from all over the world, committed to improving the quality of life for people with Down syndrome, promoting their right to be included on a full and equal basis with others.

Down Syndrome International is running a World-wide research & advocacy project on Inclusive Education, its definition and implementation. The research project has identified many frequently asked questions from the various stakeholders within the education hierarchy. 

Down Syndrome International is setting up an online resource hub where concise answers to FAQs by professionals and people with lived experiences can be viewed, to raise awareness and advocate for long-term system change.
