Conference on Autonomy of Education inaugurated at Manav Rachna with Shri. Atul Kothari, Secretary, Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas talking about Autonomy of Education!

April 1, 2017: Faculty of Management Studies, Manav Rachna International University in association with Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas is organizing the ‘National Conference on Autonomy of Education’ on April 1-2, 2017 at the Manav Rachna Campus.

The conference covered a broad range of issues regarding Autonomy of Education and witnessed the gracious presence of eminent personalities from the Academia including, Padamshree Dr. Pritam Singh, Educationist; Dr. Madhu Purnima Kishwar, Educationist; Retd. Prof. Alokdeep; Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, VC, Manav Rachna University and Vice Chancellors from leading Indian Universities.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. NC Wadhwa, VC, MRIU, said, “Manav Rachna has organized this National conference on the occasion of 70^th birth anniversary of Dr. O.P Bhalla, Founder visionary, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions. We are highly obliged to get an opportunity to host such an event and invite eminent dignitaries from the Education fraternity.”

Addressing the gathering in the National Conference, Shri. Atul Kothari, Secretary, Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas, said, “I am proud to come and speak at the lush green campus of Manav Rachna. Education in India has changed over the years. We cannot completely rely on the Government to bring in the required positive changes in the education system because if we dream of a better India, we all should work towards the betterment of our academic system.” He also discussed numerous ways to bring in Autonomy of Education in India.

Plenary and technical sessions were also held to discuss on Autonomy of Education post the inaugural session. Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki, Hon’ble Governor of Haryana would be presiding over the valedictory session to be held on April 2^nd, 2017.
