Celebration of 22nd International Housekeeping Week

Held every year during the second week of September, International Housekeeping Week aims to recognize the efforts of hard-working custodial staff members. To celebrate this event Department of Hotel Management organized a guest session, wherein the key speakers were Ms. Payal, the Executive Housekeeper at Crowne Plaza Okhla Hotel and Ms. Anjali Dahiya, Training Manager at Crowne Plaza Okhla.

The session started with the welcome of the guests, wherein the Director and HOD of the Department presented a flower bouquet followed by their introduction. Ms. Payal started the lecture by giving her introduction and about the organization in India and all over the world. She motivated many students by telling stories of people who succeeded in life through hard work and by keeping them mentally stronger. She also discussed the latest trends in the Housekeeping Department post covid in Crowne Plaza Okhla Hotel. Ms. Anjali motivated the students to work harder and achieve their goals. She interacted with students by knowing the expectation they have from the hotels and what actual the reality is. The session ended with a question and answer. Followed by a Vote of Thanks by the HOD
