Attaining Financial Capability through Sustained Investment

Faculty of Management Studies, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Faridabad celebrates World Investor Week (23 – 29, November 2020) under the aegis of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

A virtual national conference was organized by FMS in association with SEBI, AMFI, NSDL, and TDP Global. The presenters for the conference were prominent speakers including CA (Dr.) Ashok Haldia mentor TDP Global, Dr. Nand Dhameja, Dean FMS, Dr. Tejinder Singh, DSG IOSCO, Spain, Dr. Gurjeet Kaur, DSW, MRIIRS, Deb Prasad Bhattacharjee SEBI, Mr. Surya Kant Sharma, AMFI, Mr. Nitin Joshi, NSDL, Dr. Deepti Dabas Hazarika, Director FMS.

The conference was moderated by Dr. Bhavesh P. Joshi, Area Chair Finance, FMS and Ms. Neha Malkan, TDP Global

Government of India and the four financial sector regulators specifically Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Securities and Exchanges Board of India (SEBI), Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDA) and Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) strengthen the financial inclusion in the country.

The conference was attended by participants from all over India, and they asked questions from the experts. They also got to explore more about the financial capability for sustained investments.

Dr. Tejinder Singh, Deputy Secretary-General, IOSCO had graced the conference from Madrid, Spain and for the conference Radio Manav Rachna 107.8 FM was the radio partner.
