Another Scintillating Day for Clan Activities

To inculcate life skills and values among students, Manav Rachna University (MRU) organized clan activities under Manav Rachna Life Skills Programme. Students were divided into five verticals such that Literary, Cultural, Sports, Media and ISR. Various workshops were organized under this such as photography workshop for which alumnus of MRU- Mr. Siddhant and Mr. Dhruv Sharma were the resource persons. The session started with basics of photography and different types of Digital cameras like DSLR, Mirrorless camera, bridge camera etc.

This was followed by a Dance Hip Hop workshop organized by Dance Society- MRIDAKSH. Students were given lessons on the basics of hip hop dance, foundations -like Bounce, Lock it Down, Rock Off, Heel Toe and Jurk.

In connotation of the World Ozone day, 2018, an event on Poster making competition was organized to celebrate the world Ozone day on 20th September 2018. The event was based on the theme of “Save Earth, Ozone depletion and Environmental conservation”. Participants showed the significance of the ozone layer for the survival of life forms on the earth through creative paintings. On the whole, it was a creative and interesting participation from the students for enlightening and realization of the serious situation of ozone layer depletion and its impact on the earth.

An essay writing competition was also organized on the occasion of Ozone Week wherein the registered participants were asked to submit their original entries on the topic “The disappearing ozone layer: Are we responsible?”

At the end, students indulged in sports activities which helped them in developing swiftness and alertness at the same time.
