The Department of Management, MRU organized an AD-MAD-SHOW recently. Advertisement and Marketing forms a part of the curriculum of the students pursuing BBA. This show was organized with an intention to give it an extension and to provide a platform for the students to apply the theoretical knowledge practically. The students were given a product in advance and they presented an ad for the same in a team of 5-6.
Students were really creative in their presentation and came up with some super interesting and hilarious advertisement ideas. Prof. Jaideep Singh, Director Industry Interaction and Dr. Animesh Singh, Asso. Professor, DMC judged the event and awarded three teams.
BBA EFB 2nd year students got the third position with a team of 4 students namely Parminder, Himmat, Yashpal, Lokesh who advertised a glue named ‘quick-stick’. A team from BBA 3rd Sem FAA stood second with members Ishita, Vivek, Sony, Tushar, Ena, Abhishek gave a hilarious attempt for advertising “Aggarbatti”. Another team from BBA 5th Sem FAA stood first by giving a splendid performance on marketing an online-food-supply-chain by the name “Bhookh Ki Raftar”. It left the audience in laughter fits yet leaving an impact. The team had creative members named Shivani, Sapna, Disha, Aditi, Keshav, Shivam Prashar.
The judges Prof. Jaideep Singh and Dr. Animesh Singh motivated all the participants and encouraged them to be more active in such events and keep enhancing their skills.
