1st International Arogya Conference And Exhibition
Ministry of AYUSH, along with the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry; Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry & Pharmexcil is organizing the first edition of International AROGYA 2017- an International Exhibition & Conference on AYUSH & Wellness from 4-7 December 2017. The Event showcased the strengths of AYUSH systems and the inevitable linkages with the industry. Ms. Varsha Srivastava, Assistant Professor, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, MRIIRS (formerly MRIU) and Dr. Nidhi Didwania, Associate Professor, Department of Biotechnology, MRIIRS attended the exhibition on December 4, 2017.
It was a comprehensive exhibition which laid emphasis on Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Health & Wellness Tourism, Homoeopathy, Wellness, Health & Fitness, Medicinal Plants, Books & Publications, Machinery and Technology, Herbal/Organic Foods, Dealers and Exporters of medicinal plants/raw materials, Drug testing laboratories, Health supplements and Nutritional products.
The event presented the strengths and potentials of traditional systems of medicine, research & development efforts in the AYUSH sector, and interaction with practitioners. It also brought the process of creating awareness among individuals and professionals about Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha & Homoeopathy into the limelight.
The exhibition helped the FAS team in gaining access to the industries and laboratories from the health and wellness industry.
