The Department of Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry at Manav Rachna Dental College offers a prestigious Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) program dedicated to nurturing exceptional future oral health champions for children. Our three-year, full-time program, approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI), equips graduates with the advanced knowledge, clinical expertise, and research skills needed to safeguard and promote the oral health of children throughout their development.

Cultivating Holistic Oral Care

Our program embraces a comprehensive approach to pediatric dentistry, emphasizing both prevention and intervention. Graduates gain proficiency in managing common childhood oral health concerns like caries, malocclusions, and dental trauma.

The Department of Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry focuses on meeting the oral health care needs of children, emphasizing the prevention of oral diseases, early diagnosis, and prompt dental intervention. Postgraduates in the department engage in primary and comprehensive, preventive, and therapeutic oral health care for infants, children, and adolescents, including those with special health care needs.

Advanced diagnostic and intervention methodologies are available to postgraduates to ensure they are on par with international academic institutions. Students specialize in non-pharmacological and pharmacological methods of behavior management to fully rehabilitate children. The structured PG program encompasses rotary endodontics, dental laser applications, digital radiography, electrocautery surgeries, myofunctional therapy, semi-fixed orthodontic therapy, full mouth rehabilitation under general anesthesia, conscious sedation, and more.

Join us and embark on a journey to become a leading pioneer in children's oral health, dedicated to building brighter smiles and healthier futures for all.
