Propelling our commitment to excellence in research, at Manav Rachna Dental College, we leverage cutting-edge tools to push the boundaries of knowledge and enhance the future of oral health. Our institution is proud to house state-of-the-art labs with the latest equipment, including Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS), a 3D Imaging CBCT Machine, dental lasers, ELISA, ultracentrifuges, multiple implant systems, and more to facilitate dental research.

Our objectives include:

  • Identifying information and resource gaps needed by the community and/or doctors.
  • Raising awareness among students of the value of innovation and discovery in the field of oral health.

The research ecosystem is facilitated by the Institutional Ethical Committee and the Publication Committee. BDS students are encouraged to take part in Short-Term Studentship programs of ICMR.

A recent idea of developing a Flexo-magnetic file retrieval system for retrieving broken equipment during endodontic procedures has been shortlisted under the Manav Rachna NewGen IEDC scheme 2021-22, along with a patent application being filed.

Various research programs are being performed using advanced technologies, and recently R&D projects, namely the Development and Applications of Nanoparticles, have received grants from the Haryana State Council for Science, Innovation, and Technology.
