WCLI Certified Associate Fellowship Laser Course

MRCDE is proud to collaborate with WCLI, offering a unique opportunity for students to learn about laser dentistry from global experts. In a 3-day intensive course, we elucidate the foundational principles of laser dentistry and clinical techniques through diverse case discussions and live clinical demonstrations. This course focuses on evidence-based learning methodology facilitated by distinguished speakers of international acclaim.

Module 1

Day 1

Laser Physics and Biophysical interactions Modes of Operations of lasers, Equipment Setup, and Laser Safety Understanding the capabilities and limitations of dental lasers

Day 2

Diode lasers: Didactic lectures and hands-on training on animal jaws Bleaching and pain therapy: Clinical demonstrations on patients

Day 3

Erbium physics: Understanding hard and soft tissue therapy Patient demonstrations

Module 2

Day 1

Laser applications in Periodontology and Endodontics Pediatric application of Erbium and all tissue lasers Group discussions

Day 2

Clinical sessions with Diode Lasers on patients Refresher lectures for Associate Fellowship

Day 3

WCLI Exam (Associate Fellow) and lectures on Implant applications with lasers

Certification

Participants receive two certificates upon course completion: WCLI and MRCDE
