About Our Principal
Dr. Puneet Batra is an MDS in Orthodontics from the prestigious AIIMS New Delhi. He serves as the Principal Incharge and Cleft Orthodontist at Global Hospital and Research Centre Mt Abu Rajasthan, as well as Sant Parmanand Hospital, National Heart Institute, and Max Hospital New Delhi. He is the recipient of the PP Jacob Award and the JG Kannapan Award by the Indian Orthodontic Society. He has been awarded the prestigious Commonwealth scholarship at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children London, as well as the TC White award at Dundee Dental School Scotland. He is an Morth from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and an FFD Orth from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
He is a Diplomate of the Indian Board of Orthodontics (DIBO), holds a DNB in Orthodontics and has completed PG Diplomas in Hospital Management, Medico Legal Systems, and Oral Implantology. He has more than 125 publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals. He has lectured extensively in India and abroad as an invited speaker. He served as the Past President of the Indian Society of Cleft Lip and Palate and Craniofacial Anomalies in 2019-20. Additionally, he has received training in artificial intelligence with DRDO and serves as a central government nominee to DCI (Dental Council of India).
