The primary emphasis of the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry at Manav Rachna Dental College lies in addressing the diagnosis and management of children's oral healthcare needs. As an expert field, our treatment methods are customized to cater to the distinct requirements of infants, youngsters, teenagers, and individuals with specific healthcare needs. Our principal goal is to provide compassionate, child-centric, well-coordinated, interdisciplinary, and top-tier oral healthcare to our patients.
Our department is committed to providing outcome-based holistic education and promoting research and innovative practices in frontier areas. We strive for academic excellence to enhance the quality of the student learning experience. Undergraduate students receive training in our department to develop essential clinical skills for delivering basic dental care to children, with a strong emphasis on preventive and interceptive dentistry.
Both the undergraduate and postgraduate programs offer students the necessary didactic knowledge and clinical experiences to provide comprehensive primary oral health care and specialized services. Postgraduate students undergo training in all aspects of Advanced Pediatric Dentistry, including specialization in pharmacological methods for behavior management and treatment using conscious sedation and general anesthesia.
