Bachelor of Dental Surgery

Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) Program was recognized by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in 2011. The undergraduate dental program leading to a BDS degree comprises 4 years of academic study and 1 year of rotating internship (Total 5 years).

The department offers two specialized programs under BDS curriculum:

• Dental Ethics: Taught in the 3rd year of BDS.

• Public Health Dentistry: Covered in the 4th year of BDS.
