XUBERANCE 2k18- Annual Fest of Manav Rachna Dental College

Manav Rachna Dental College (MRDC) organized its most awaited and awe-inspiring three-day annual fest titled as ‘XUBERANCE 2k18’ from 14^th to 16^th March 2018. With the pool of activities and competitions, the fest was extremely mesmerizing. The fest included various competitions including dance, fashion show, soap carving, collage making, singing, talent show, plaster mania, nukkad natak, dumbcharades and many more. XUBERANCE 2k18 provided a platform to the college students to showcase their talent while basking in the culture heritage of the institution.

The first day of the fest was Intra-College with competitions such as Soap Carving, Creative Wire Bending, Collage Making, Face Painting, Cash Out of Trash, Hair Dressing, Salad Dressing, and Nail Art. All the students of MRDC participated in the competitions with great zeal and enthusiasm. The last and the most amazing challenge of the day was ‘1 minute Challenges’ which brought out the spirit and talent of the students. There were themes for specific competitions such as Musical Instruments for Soap Carving.

The second day witnessed a wonderful splash of various events performed at an Inter-College level. The participating colleges were Jamia Millia Islamia, Inderprastha Dental College & Hospital, Sudha Rastogi College of Dental Sciences & Research, ESIC, Rohini; and SGT University, Gurugram. There were many interesting competitions including Rangoli, Photography, Plaster Mania, Nukkad Natak, Music, Dance, and Fashion Show. Students from MRDC and the participating colleges showcased their talent in all the competitions with great enthusiasm.

The third-day of XUBERANCE 2K18 was Intra-college fest which was filled with a myriad of exciting competitions including Rangoli on the theme- ‘Digit

alization in Today’s Life’, followed by the Debate on ‘Democracy , Boon or Bane in India’, Dumbcharades, Music, Talent Show, and Dance. The day ended with a musical DJ Night with students dancing on various tracks with full enthusiasm. The music and the feel of its resonance made everyone shake their legs on the floor.

Dr. Arundeep Singh, Principal, Professor & Head, Manav Rachna Dental College said, “XUBERANCE 2k18 is the culmination of hard work we put in for ourselves throughout the year. Around 400 students from MRDC and other colleges participated in the annual fest and won various competitions. The fest was highly magnificent and full of euphoria.”

Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, Vice Chancellor, Manav Rachna University encouraged the initiative of XUBERANCE 2k18 by MRDC and motivated the students to participate in co-curricular activities along with complete focus on academics.

The three-day extravaganza witnessed a plenty of winners from MRDC and all the participating colleges in the competitions. All the winners were awarded medals and winning certificates.
