Workshop on PHP in association with Venture7 Pvt. Ltd

Department of Computer Science & Technology, Manav Rachna University organized a one day Workshop on PHP in association with Venture7 Pvt. Ltd. on 18^th March 2017 at Manav Rachna University. The resource person for the workshop was Mr. Sumit Choudhary, Associate Team Lead and Mr. Devendar Adhlakha, Associate Software Developer. Faculty members of CST Department attended the workshop.

Mr. Sumit Choudhary shared his experience of handling projects development using PHP framework. He explained that PHP is a general-purpose server-side scripting language originally designed for Web development to produce dynamic web pages and demonstrated the installation and configuration of WAMP and XAMP servers. He also shared the security concepts such as cookie and session management. He gave hands-on exercises on basic and advance PHP concepts with MySQL database connection.

The workshop helped the participants to get a firm foothold to apply PHP to live projects. All the faculty members participated enthusiastically in every activity and it was overall a great learning, experience and exposure to the PHP.
