Second Day of National Cyber Security Conference was an enlightening one
The second day of National Cyber Security Conference organized by Intersquad Cyber Intelligence (World’s first Cyber Security Consortium), a start-up by Manav Rachna B.Tech CSE students, was inaugurated by Dr. NC Wadhwa, Vice Chancellor, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS). Also present on the occasion were Dr. M.K. Soni, Pro-Vice Chancellor, MRIIRS; Dr. Krishna Kant, ED and Dean, Faculty of Engineering & Technology (FET), MRIIRS; Dr. Suresh Kumar, Prof. & HoD, Department of Computer Science & Technology, FET, MRIIRS; Mr. Lawrence Ang, President, Intersquad Cyber Intelligence; students and faculty members. Dr. Amar Prasad Reddy, Director General at National Cyber Safety and Security Standards was the Chief Guest for the day.
Dr. NC Wadhwa appreciated the initiative by Intersquad Cyber Intelligence while talking about the advancements in the Information Technology sector and the recent cyber attack cases such as Ransomware. Dr. M. K. Soni stated that the concepts of ethical and unethical hacking will be beneficial for all participants when they will step into the industry. “These days, Cyber Security is not just limited to business but to every person using technology.” He also highlighted the golden job opportunities in Analtics and Artificial Intelligence sector.
The second day was packed with sessions by Key Speakers from different parts of India including Mr. Ajay Guliya, Mr. Lawrence Ang, Mr. Dinesh O Bareja, Mr. Deepak Kumar, Mr. Teo Poh Soon, Mr. Mohit Yadav, Mr. Yasir Arafat, Mr. Rakshit Tandon, and Dr. Amar Prasad Reddy. The sessions were conducted on ‘Needs for skilling younger generation & students community in Cyber Safety’, ‘Cyber Challenges for National Security’, ‘Cyber Forensics’, ‘Mitigating Enterprise Risk’, ‘Social Engineering’, ‘Browser Exploitation’, and ‘Rising Trends in Cyber Crime’.
The enlightening session equipped all the participants with relevant and ready-to-use information about Cyber Security, its various components and its usage in various domains.
