Samagam 2K16- an Annual Alumni Meet held at Manav Rachna International University provides a forum to form new bonds and relive fun-filled moments!

Alumni meets are conducted in institutions to strengthen ties between former students and the institution. These meets gives an opportunity to the alumni to create a lasting connection with the College and provide a way for them to stay involved in campus activities and alumni events. Keeping the same in view, an annual Alumni Meet was organized by the Faculty of Media Studies and Humanities, Manav Rachna International University. The event began on an auspicious note with Ganesh Vandana followed by an enthralling dance performance by the students. Welcoming the alumni and the students, Dr. N.C Wadhwa, Vice Chancellor, MRIU, said, “It is a pleasure to be part of the alumni meet as it gives you a chance to interact with the former students of the university and see them growing successful at their respective organizations.” Dr. Wadhwa, also enlightened the former students about the happenings and the growth of the University over the years. Prof. Dr. Neemo Dhar, Dean, FMeH, MRIU, extended a warm and hearty welcome to the alumni and stated, “The Alumni are an asset to any organization. The more successful you become, the more successful and proud the institution will be. It is important to remain connected with the institution and provide guidance to your university siblings.” The students promised an interesting retreat to the alumni which was ensured through scintillating performances including dance, singing, ramp walk and various comedy acts by the students. Adding to the fun, a saree-tying competition was also organized for the former students which was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience. The event was an enjoyable treat for the alumni and the students to strengthen their bonds and gave the alumni a chance to relive the joyful moments of the past.
