MOU Signed Between SheepMedical India and Manav Rachna Dental College
Manav Rachna Dental College is an institution that believes in expanding the boundaries of knowledge. With the same zest, a collaboration was signed on 11/7/2023 between SheepMedical India and Manav Rachna Dental College, SDS, MRIIRS, to promote research in the treatment of Cleft lip & palate patients at our peripheral centre.
The main theme of the event was to strengthen the mitigations towards cleft lip & palate treatment that India and most developing & underdeveloped countries have been facing locally as well as globally.
The event was graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, Vice-Chancellor, MRIIRS & Managing Director, MREI, Dr. Puneet Batra, Principal, Professor & HOD, Manav Rachna Dental College, Dr. Ashish Kakkar, Director, Manav Rachna Centre for Dental Excellence, Mr. Takuya Kiriyama, Director, SheepMedical Japan, Dr. Masaru Ishigame, Orthodontist, Mr. Bimal Desai, Country Head, SheepMedical India, Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, and postgraduate students of the departments.
The gathering began with an address by Prof. Dr. Sanjay Srivastava (VC, MRIIRS) who praised the efforts of the organizing team for putting together such a fruitful collaboration and hoped every cleft patient would reap benefits from the collaboration.
Prof. Dr. Puneet Batra, Principal, Professor & HOD, Manav Rachna Dental College, MRIIRS, highlighted the efforts of MRDC as an institution in upscaling the status of Dental Education in India. He called for the people to be “the change they want to see” and expressed the need to uplift the standard of care in the field of cleft lip & palate in providing much-needed smiles to these patients.
We were honored to have among us, Mr. Takuya Kiriyama, Chief Global Strategist & Director, SheepMedical Japan, and Dr. Masaru Ishigame, Orthodontist, Japan, join us online from Japan. They expressed their contentment towards the research collaboration.
Mr. Bimal Desai, Country Head, SheepMedical India, stressed the general advancement of technologies in the field of dentistry and expressed the desire to take the collaboration to new heights in the future for the betterment of society.
The event culminated with the signing of research collaboration between Manav Rachna Dental College, SDS, MRIIRS, and SheepMedical India Pvt. Limited, in the treatment of cleft lip and palate.
