The Ministry of Human Resource Development is organizing a National Conference of Vice Chancellors & Directors of Higher Education Institutions of India (July 26-28, 2018). The theme of the Conference is Research & Innovation in Higher Education.
All Vice Chancellors of Central Universities, State Public Universities, Deemed to be Universities, State Private Universities, Directors of Central Institutes, such as IITs, IISc., IIMs, IISERs, IIITs, NITs and other central institutions are participating in the Conference, being held at Hotel Ashoka, New Delhi.
Our Vice Chancellor, Dr N C Wadhwa was invited to deliver and share a detailed presentation on ‘Digital Initiatives by Universities’. He talked about the Research & Innovation focus at MRIIRS which has brought about transformational changes in the higher education landscape. Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, VC, Manav Rachna University is also among the invitees to the conference.
The conference was presided over by Shri Prakash Javadekar, Hon’ble Minister for HRD; Dr. Satya Pal Singh, Hon’ble MoS, for HRD; and Shri R. Subrahmanyam, Secretary(HE), MHRD; among other notable dignitaries.
