Day 1- FDP on Machine Learning using Python

Faculty of Computer Applications has organized 2 days Faculty Development Programme on “Machine Learning using Python” in collaboration with IIT Kanpur, technically supported by IEEE Computer Society, Delhi Section and CSI Student Chapter, MRIIRS, from 14^th – 15^th September 2018.

Dr. M.K. Soni, Pro Vice Chancellor and Dr. S.S. Tyagi, Dean-FCA inaugurated the session by presenting the sapling to the keynote speaker Mr. Jitender Singh, ICT Academy, IIT Kanpur. Dr. Shaveta Bhatia, HOD-CA presented the welcome address to all the dignitaries and participants. Mr. Jitender Singh, ICT Academy, IIT Kanpur was the eminent speaker of the day. He addressed about the importance of knowledge of Machine Learning. In the 1^st session of the programme, Mr. Singh covered preface of machine learning, working methodology of machine learning, training data, testing data and various applications of machine learning.

In the 2^nd session, he explained the Pycharm plug-in which will be used in developing the new algorithm in machine learning. He demonstrated the different security issues of Google, Google Maps, Google Assistant, Paytm etc. All the participants were also engaged in Hands-On by the speaker.
