4th PRITAM SINGH MEMORIAL (PRISM) CONFERENCE: November 2024
Prastuti-Case Study Competition (CSC) Guidelines
● The event shall involve two rounds:
● Round 1: Online Elimination Round: The participants shall be presented with a case on the theme of the conference by 16th October 2024, and they shall submit their analysis on or before 24th October 2024 using the link provided with the case. An expert panel shall judge the case analysis and select the finalists for the next round.The result of the first round will be communicated by 31st October 2024
● Round 2: Online Presentation Round: The final round case study will be shared by the 6th of November 2024. The finalists must complete their registration by filling outthe registration form to present their case analysis before a panel of expert judges on 13th November 2024 on a virtual platform. The results of the final round will be declared on the 19th of November in the PRISM 24 conference.

● No Participation Fees
● The competition is open to students enrolled in a PGDM/ MBA program (or equivalent) across all universities and colleges at the time of the competition
● A participant can be part of only one team.
● A team must comprise 2 participants from the same institute.
● A maximum of five teams from one institute can participate.
● Students across different years/batches can participate in a team.
● The case shall be available to the participants on 16th October 2024, 9:00 PM
● The teams must submit their case analysis on or before 24th October 2024, 5:00PM
● Teams selected for the 2nd round shall be notified through email by 31st of October 2024.
● All selected teams must confirm their intent to participate in the presentation round by filling out the registration form by November 10th , 2024, by 5:00 PM Failure to confirm will result in disqualification.
● The final presentation round shall be held on the 13th of November on a virtual platform.
● The case should be prepared in the form of a presentation (.ppt), sent in PDF format and should be of a maximum 8 slides.
● The slides should include the following: o Statement of business problem
o How the problem is addressed
o Data sources
o Methodology
o Results and conclusion
o Recommendations
● No personal details such as team member names, team names, mobile numbers or e- mail id shall be provided anywhere except on the first slide. Including any such details on the slides will lead to the disqualification of the team.
● Case analysis shall be judged based on clear understanding of the problem, innovative and feasible solution, approach and methodology, conclusion and recommendation and overall presentation.
● Each team shall be given 10 minutes for case presentation, followed by 5 minutes for cross-questioning by the judges.
● The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any team that violates the rules/guidelines or act/s in an unprofessional manner.
● Under all circumstances, the decision of the expert committee shall be final.

● A distinguished jury will carefully evaluate all case study submissions. Shortlisted participants will be allowed to present their findings on 10th November 2024. The rewards for outstanding performance are as follows:
● First Prize: A cash prize of Rs.1 lakh (Rs.1,00,000)
● Second Prize: A cash prize of Rs.50 thousand (Rs.50,000)
● Third Prize: A cash prize of Rs.25 thousand (Rs.25,000)
