Brief Profile
Dr. Alpa Gupta holds an M.D.S. degree in the branch of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics from the Post Graduate Institute of Dental Sciences, Rohtak, India, a renowned government institute. In 2018, she joined Manav Rachna (MRIIRS) Faridabad as a Reader in the Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics at MRDC. With over 10 years of experience, Dr. Gupta has established herself as an expert in root canal treatment and filling procedures.
Dr. Gupta has supervised numerous postgraduate theses and library dissertations. At present, she is overseeing the progress of three postgraduate students. Her contributions to the field are evident through her impressive publication record, which consists of more than 45 articles in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. Her publications have garnered over 370 citations, highlighting the impact of her research. Notably, Dr. Gupta’s work has been featured in esteemed dental journals such as the International Endodontic Journal, Journal of Endodontics, Dental Traumatology, and Journal of Conservative Dentistry, as well as specialty journals.
In addition to her accomplishments, Dr. Gupta is currently pursuing her Ph.D. program at Manav Rachna University, further expanding her expertise in systematic, scoping, and umbrella reviews. Recognizing her exceptional abilities, Dr. Gupta has been awarded a grant from the Haryana State Council for Science Innovation and Technology. She has also received a start-up grant from the NSTEDB division of Science and Technology, as well as several seed money grants from Manav Rachna Institute.
Dr. Gupta’s research endeavors extend beyond her institution. She has initiated collaborations with Delhi University for bacteriophage therapy and with TSHTI for monoclonal antibodies. These partnerships reflect her dedication to advancing scientific knowledge and exploring innovative approaches in the field of dentistry.
