The Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics at MRIIRS presents an in-depth five-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program. Our aim is to deliver a strong educational foundation for future dentists, empowering them to identify and address diverse orthodontic concerns. Aspiring dental professionals indulge in an immersive learning in orthodontics during the course, engaging in both theoretical and practical training. As they progress, they develop fundamental orthodontic knowledge and skills, ultimately gaining advanced proficiency. Throughout their education, our student dentists engage with patients, assessing, diagnosing, and treating orthodontic conditions, culminating in their third and final years.
