Students of Manav Rachna Educational Institutions at “SAICON 2017

In modern sports, the secret behind performance enhancement lies in the application of science and technology in the training of athletes. To create awareness as well as knowledge sharing, the scientists of the younger generation were given opportunities to come together on a common platform at the SAICON 2017 Delhi, an International conference on sports medicine organised by Sports Authority of India at the JLN Stadium, New Delhi recently.

The students and faculty members of MREI participated in the conference to exchange ideas on the recent researches being conducted all over the world. Fifty students from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics (N&D), Physiotherapy and Manav Rachna Dental College rendered their dedicated and selfless services in ‘SAICON 2017’ as volunteers at this grand international event.

The conference was a good learning experience for the students as volunteering for such activities boosts confidence, leadership and communication skills.
