Virtual Lab Workshop Report

In continuation with the series of Virtual Labs Workshops, MRU organized another workshop on “Virtual Labs” in association with IIT Delhi on 21^st April 2022, for faculty members and students from respective disciplines (CSE, BSC, ECE and ME) by Virtual Labs team, IIT Delhi. The resource persons for this training program was Mr. Prateek Sharma, Mr. Shubham Dalal, and Mr. Chandan Kumar. Total 101 students and 14 faculty members attended the workshop. The objective of the workshop was to introduce practical skills and impart practical knowledge to students through virtual labs. The session commenced in the presence of Prof(Dr.) Shruti Vashist, Dean Engineering, Prof. (Dr.) Manpreet Kaur, Head, CST, Ms. Chandni Maggoo, Associate Head, CST, Ms. Hanu Bhardwaj, Associate Professor, Dr.Mamta Arora, Nodal Coordinator, Student Coordinators, Participants and faculty members. The training session started with the small introduction of Virtual labs followed by some experimental demonstration for each discipline including Chemistry, Physics, Electronics and Computer Science. The students were also explained how to create experiments on their own and upload it to virtual labs. Finally, the workshop training session concluded with the vote of thanks by Dr.Mamta Arora, Nodal Coordinator, MRU.
