Under the aegis of Dr O P Bhalla Foundation, a health camp was organized at Sector 57, Faridabad by Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies. The objective of the health camp was to provide free assessment of nutritional status and diet counseling to the common population by nutrition and physiotherapy professionals. Ms Varsha Srivastava, Assistant Professor, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics and Dr Preeti Saini, Assistant Professor, Department of Physiotherapy along with the students attended the health camp. More than 100 people were provided counseling by the team. The guest of honor for this event was Mr Narender Badana. Various physicians from other medical institutes also participated in the event.

Nutrition counseling was provided on the basis of body mass index (BMI) of the individuals. Dietary recommendations were prescribed to each person based upon the physiological status and nutrient requirements. Blood pressure monitoring and physiotherapy counseling were also provided to the people.

The FAS team served the community with full dedication.
