FMS, MRIU participated at the Career Junction 2017 organized by Career Launcher. Career Junction, a Career Launcher initiative, aims at empowering students with the right knowledge and skill set and enabling them to take a sound and well thought-out MBA career decision. It was an ideal platform for students and B-Schools to learn more about MBA, Entrepreneurship and Career guidance. The session started with Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, VC, MRU and MD MREI’s keynote address on “Goal Setting” as a first step to design a career roadmap. It was a deeply enriching session for the 1000-odd participants who attended Career Junction 2017 at the Constitutional Club of India. Students from Colleges like Amity University, Gurgaon; Jims, Rohini; ISB & M, Pune, Bangalore, Kolkata; Institute of Financial Management & Research; Birla Global University, Bhubaneshar; IFIM Business School, among others, were exposed to the right knowledge and skill sets to take a sound and well thought-out MBA career decision. The event acted as a catalyst for those who are seeking to pursue higher education and are seriously looking at MBA as the next step in their career.

Other prominent speakers included, Mr R Sreenivasan, Co-founder, Career Launcher, Mr Suresh Venkatraman, Dean IFMR, Chennai delivered a lecture on ‘Current Affairs & U.S. Elections; Mr Gautam Puri, Co-founder, Career Launcher, India's one and only Aptitude Guru expounded on ‘Jayein to Jayein Kahan’; then there was Mr Satya Narayanan R talking at length on the current hot topic of ‘Entrepreneurship’; Mr Mahesh Peri, Founder Careersc360 discussed about ‘B-School Selection- Knowing your options’; Mr Gautam Bawa, IIM C Alumnus, MBA Product Head, Career Launcher, gave valuable pointers on ‘B School Selection Process’; Mr T K Arun, Editor, Opinion, The Economic Times, BCCL, took to discussing Demonetisation & Budget 2017’; and last but not the least there was Mr Sanjay Dhingra, Associate Director, ISB Hyderabad, holding forth on Executive MBA and ISB YLP Program.

FMS, MRIU participated in its full strength and presented its cutting edge industry centric MBA programs (Dual Specialization, MBA-HealthCare & MBA- HRM). FMS stall attracted many MBA aspirants and they inquired about the MRIU’s MBA programs. Dr. Chavi Bhargava Sharma, Dean FMS along with Dr. Srivastava interacted with many thought leaders and shared their vision of MRIU. FMS faculty- Prof. Gaurav Sood, Dr. Nandini Srivastava, Dr. Anindita Chatterjee, Dr. Farhat Mohsin and Prof. Stuti Sahni career counseled the MBA aspirants and presented the proposition of the FMS MBA programs. Dr. Anindita Chatterjee also conducted personal interview sessions for the students at the venue.
