Badminton Tournament

Civil Engineering Society, Department of Civil Engg, FET, MRIIRS organized a badminton tournament for boys (doubles) and girls (singles). The event started with an inauguration session graced by Dr. Krishna Kant, ED and Dean, FET; Mr. Sarkar Talwar, Director-Sports; and Dr. Sadiqa Abbas, HoD, Department of Civil Engineering. The tournament was coordinated by Mr. Mudit Mishra. Mr. Sarkar Talwar motivated the students with his impressive words. The day began with a show match between Mr. Sarkar Talwar & Dr. Krishan Kant.

In boy’s category, first position was secured by Mr. Praveen Sharma & Mr. Debodh Kumar from Civil Engineering Department and in girl’s category, first position was bagged by Ms. Priyanka Mehta from Biotechnology Department. Winners in both categories were given cash prize, medals and certificates of participation. The runner ups were given medals and certificates. The prizes were distributed by Dr. Krishna Kant.
