2ND JUSTICE R.C. LAHOTI MEMORIAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2025

With the emergence of cutting-edge technologies, social tools, and interconnected communities, the study of law has transgressed its traditional spheres of influence and assumed importance in a multitude of domains. At the School of Law, Manav Rachna University (MRU), we understand this trans disciplinary application of legal knowledge by offering practice-driven and project based legal education.

“To empower the law students to shape just and equitable world through academic excellence, advocacy and integrity”, School of Law, Manav Rachna University is organizing 2nd Justice RC Lahoti Memorial Moot Court Competition, 03rd April- 05th April, 2025 on the theme,  Deepfake, Machine learning, Constitutional Law, IPR Laws.

ELIGIBILITY

• Only regular students enrolled in a five-year integrated undergraduate law programme or three-year graduate law programme are eligible to register for the competition. Each team shall consist of two speakers and one researcher. Teams are to notify which members are the respective speakers and researchers through the registration form. No change of speaker to researcher or vice-versa shall be permitted except upon application to the Organizing Committee.

• The request for change should have concrete reasons and the decision of the Organizing Committee shall be final. If need be, the Organizing Committee holds the right to disqualify a team upon finding the reason for change to be unjustifiable or unreasonable.
