Ans. 50% or more aggregate in 10+2 in three Science subjects namely Physics, Chemistry and Maths/Biology along with English.

Ans. RESERVATION OF SEATS

ManavRachna University presently follows the reservation policy as under:

NRI/Foreign National/PIO seats: 15% in all programmes/courses.
General Seats: 85% (25% seats are reserved for Haryana domicile students, of which 10% seats are for the SC candidates of Haryana).
Kashmiri Migrants: 1 seat in merit quota for all the programmes.

Ans. The B.Sc. programme is designed to provide basic and updated knowledge of Chemistry and its applications in many areas. All the programs give hands on practical experience and training by various practical classes, the students are also trained to develop multidisciplinary approach by carrying a research project.

Q22. What are the teaching-learning approaches used?

Ans. The B.Sc. program utilizes a combination of teaching and learning approaches which include lectures, tutorials, practical classes, seminars, problem-based learning, field visits, group/individual assignments, and development of communication skills. Students are required to undertake research projects in the final year of the program. With this knowledge and skills, the students are able to work in their future work effectively.

Q23. What is the quality of teaching staff?

Ans. The department has well-qualified, experienced teaching staff. There are 5 professor, one Associate Professors and 8 assistant professors. They are also actively involved in research and have published extensively in different areas of chemistry.

Ans. Soft skills development and personality development session are integral part of the curriculum. ManavRachna University offers special subjects on communication skill and personality development along with foreign languages (French, German, Spanish ) soft courses.

Ans. The last date for submitting completed application form is given in Admission Brochure and on university website.

Q29. Should the parents come along with the candidate for admission?

Ans. It is not mandatory for parents to attend the counseling. It is left to the parents to decide about this.

Q30. I need to speak to an adviser: don’t know which course to choose?

Ans. Our expert team of admission counselors is available to help you and guide you through admission process. They are available at the Counseling Centres at Block E of the campus, if you require any information on choosing the course or if you face any difficulty in filling up the application form.

Q31. What is the mode of payment of fees?

Ans. Through Demand draft/Pay Order/ through Credit/Debit card. Cheques are not accepted.

Q32. Does MRU arrange for Educational loan through banks?

Ans. Educational loans are provided by all Nationalized Banks. And the individual student has to approach the Bank of his/her choice.

Q33. Is the loan facility available only to candidates who belong to NCR?

Ans. No, loan facility is available for students all over India subject to fulfillment of conditions stipulated by the bank extending the education loan.

Q34.How many working days and timings in a week does MRU work?

Ans. The regular curriculum classes are held from Monday to Friday from 8:00AM to 4:00PM.

Ans. We organize Personality Development classes conducted by Corporate Trainers, helping students to develop Soft Skills, Career Exploration, Resume Writing, Interviewing Skills, Presentation Skills, and Team Building Skills etc.
