A dedicated Academician, Innovator, Healthcare Motivator, Public Health Professional and Dental Entrepreneur, Dr. Meena Jain complete her graduation from Manipal College of Dental Surgery and attained her Master of Dental Surgery in the specialty of Public Health Dentistry from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. Further, she has completed her Ph.D. in Public Health Dentistry from SGT University, Gurugram. She has over 60 publications in various National & International journals.
She has authored one book with an international publisher. She was a panelist of FICCI, GOI in drafting the National Health Policy in 2015. She had been invited to Google Headquarters, Boston, USA to present her innovation of converting a manual toothbrush to an affordable smart toothbrush. She is also a PhD Supervisor and is guiding 5 PhD Scholars. She has also published high quality international publications as international collaborative research with faculty of public health with Jackson State University, Mississippi, USA and School of Dentistry, Jazan University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Jain received the “Best Paper Presentation Award” twice at the dental conferences. She is also the member of reviewer board of National and international journals. She has published more than 10 papers with students of Manav Rachna Dental College. She has three MRDC satellite centers running under her leadership in villages around Faridabad. She was also instrumental in designing, implementation and utilization of the first solar-powered Mobile Dental Van in India. She had successfully organized the COVID preparedness program in 2020 and been instrumental in developing COVID SOPs , and has conducted more than 1000 dental camps screening or treating more than 60,000 patients since 2011 in Faridabad.
