MRCON is a visionary initiative by The School of Leadership and Management (SLM) to foster impactful and forward-thinking dialogue. Since its inception in 2020, MRCON has delved into critical themes such as inclusive growth, digital innovation, leadership challenges, and organizational sustainability. Over the years, it has evolved into a prestigious platform, enabling transformative leadership discussions and driving actionable insights across disciplines.
Building on this legacy, the 6TH MRCON addresses one of the most pressing challenges: aligning Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In today’s rapidly evolving global landscape, integrating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals is both a strategic necessity and a moral responsibility. The conference, titled “Integrating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion with SDGs: Pathways to a Resilient Future amidst Technological Disruption,” aims to explore the synergy between these critical domains. It offers a unique platform for thought leaders, academics, and professionals from various management fields to collaborate and share insights.
As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, the integration of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) emerges as a pivotal driver of resilience and progress. The SDGs offer a comprehensive global framework to tackle urgent challenges such as poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, and the pursuit of peace and justice. However, achieving these objectives requires embedding DEI into organizational strategies and policies. Organizations that successfully integrate DEI with SDGs are better equipped to navigate the complexities of a technologically disrupted world. By fostering inclusive cultures, businesses can spur innovation, attract and retain top talent, and build resilient communities capable of addressing global challenges.
The event seeks to convene scholars, industry leaders, policymakers, and students to examine the intersection of DEI and SDGs across multiple management disciplines. In an era of rapid technological advancements, integrating inclusive practices and sustainable strategies is not just a moral imperative but a business necessity. This conference will provide a dynamic and collaborative environment where diverse perspectives converge, paving the way for a more equitable, sustainable, and resilient future.
